Topic: Gender Discrimination in New Vehicle Sales
Research: environmental economics and empirical industrial organization. Her research has focused on the social and economic impacts of automobile purchase and use. Langer’s current research seeks to understand whether negotiating with dealers for new vehicles leads women, senior citizens, and other demographic groups to pay more for new cars.
